ABOUT US

The archives which go to make up the Online Computer Buying Guide originally started in 1993, when I was looking to purchase a computer from Comtrade Electronics. I found little information on this company and asked people for their opinions about the company and their products. I compiled them into a list and posted it to a Usenet newsgroup and have been maintaining and adding to the list ever since.

However, due to time contraints and other professional obligations, I can no longer maintain the list or post it to Usenet newsgroups. So I decided to setup this self-maintaining Web site to allow people to access the file on Comtrade and other computer manufacturers, to help people in their buying decisions.
