2005 MSRP Pricing for Mazda6 Sedan
2004 MSRP Pricing for 5-door (Hatchback) Mazda6
Please note, all 5-doors come standard with 17" Alloy wheels (usually a $550 MSRP option)
and the Sport Group package (1SE, usually a $770 MSRP option). Not all available options
are listed below. You can find additional option pricing in the S-Plan Pricing Sheet
after the table (it includes both S-Plan and MSRP pricing for the Mazda6 -- option pricing
for the 5-door and wagon are the same or similar).
The pricing in the table below reflects old 2004 pricing. New 2005 pricing
can be found in the PDF below the table.
The prices in red reflect invoice pricing.

This does not include the new 5 door or wagon Mazda 6 prices (yet).
S Plan pricing is what Ford employees and partners get. It's fairly close to
invoice pricing, so basically you can use these sheets to help you negotiate a
fair price for your car. Most Mazda dealers should give you pricing similar to
S Plan pricing without actually being on the S Plan. If you're not getting such
pricing from your dealer, shop around. You'll usually readily find one that will.
These pricing sheets include all Mazda vehicles and the MSRP pricing for each.
This site is to detail the journey of my purchase of the upcoming
2004 Mazda 6 5-door (or Mazda6 5-door, depending upon how you write it!) sport sedan.
The 5-door is also referred to as the Mazda 6 Hatchback (although Mazda doesn't call it this).
There is nothing else quite like this on the road, ever since Saab stopped
selling the 5-door versions of their sedans and switched over to purely 4-door
cars (in 2003). Bummer, because folks like me need the versatility of a 5-door
(otherwise known as a hatchback) without making it look like a VW Golf (ew!).
