Customer Satisfaction with the Mazda 6

Seriously, I don’t know how anybody can drive this car for a year and a half, as I have, and not be nearly 100% satisfied with it. It’s like driving a BMW 3 series at half the cost. And twice the reliability (yes, sorry to point out that BMWs and Audi’s are notoriously unreliable, even in this day and age).

The Mazda 6 has been nothing but a pleasure in 43,000 miles. No unscheduled maintenance. Nothing that has broken in the car, no fit and finish issues. No rattles, no squeaks. This is one solidly, well-built car! I love the Mazda 6 and am seriously thinking about the Mazdaspeed 6 in my future.

Ditto on that satisfaction. I am on my second 6 now (05 5 door S man.) after trading in an 04 S man sedan with 32K on it. Long story short, Ive got 56K collectively and cannot give a bigger thumbs up. Just like you, ZERO problems. Same can be said for all four Mazdas I have owned to date. The 6 is just a terrific car and as soon as they offer the Mazdaspeed6 in a five door, Ill trade mine in. Thanks for you site here.

This site is to detail the journey of my purchase of the upcoming 2004 Mazda 6 5-door (or Mazda6 5-door, depending upon how you write it!) sport sedan. The 5-door is also referred to as the Mazda 6 Hatchback (although Mazda doesn't call it this). There is nothing else quite like this on the road, ever since Saab stopped selling the 5-door versions of their sedans and switched over to purely 4-door cars (in 2003). Bummer, because folks like me need the versatility of a 5-door (otherwise known as a hatchback) without making it look like a VW Golf (ew!).
