My mazda 6S hatchback shifts well, runs like a raped ape and is as smooth as riding on air. Key thing is, don't ride your clutch and it will not fail on ya. I don’t seem to have that kind of problem. I have a 2004 3.0L 5 speed and after owning it for 9 months I needed a new clutch. I know how to drive a clutch and there is no way I wore that out. If it feels like it is starting to slip take in ASAP. The standard warranty only covers it for 12/12K. It cost me $800! Me too.
