Updated 2005 Mazda S-Plan Pricing

I added updated S Plan pricing for all 2005 Mazda models. Remember, even if you don’t have S plan pricing (e.g., you’re not a Ford or Mazda employee), this is the price you can easily work your dealer toward when you’re ready to buy. This is often about as low as the dealer will go (but still won’t include secret dealer holdbacks or anything like that, so they’re still making money off of you). You should target your negotiations to these numbers.

I also recently took my 2004 Mazda 6 sedan in for the 22,500 mile checkup. And I’m coming up on my first year anniversary. I’ll be writing up both items shortly, so check back soon!

OH! Thanks. One of the local Mazda dealership has “Employee Pricing” on their cars. While I know that Ford owns (partially) Mazda, I don’t remember the brand on their official discount list.

This site is to detail the journey of my purchase of the upcoming 2004 Mazda 6 5-door (or Mazda6 5-door, depending upon how you write it!) sport sedan. The 5-door is also referred to as the Mazda 6 Hatchback (although Mazda doesn't call it this). There is nothing else quite like this on the road, ever since Saab stopped selling the 5-door versions of their sedans and switched over to purely 4-door cars (in 2003). Bummer, because folks like me need the versatility of a 5-door (otherwise known as a hatchback) without making it look like a VW Golf (ew!).
