The Mazdaspeed 6 was announced at the Paris Motor Show yesterday. Briefly, the specs for this Summer 2005 release are:

274 HP, 2.3 inline 4 that produces 280 lbs of torque (if they live up to those specs, that’ll be some engine!)
Direct-injection, turbocharged engine
All-wheel drive (with limited slip differential) comes standard
18″ alloy wheels
