Haverhill Restaurant Reviews
Highly Recommended
Keon's
105 Washington St, Haverhill, MA 01832
Tel. (978) 521-0112
Serves contemporary American fare. Includes a menu, wine list, and directions.
The menu boasts eight to nine entrees, plus usually a daily special.
Every course is delicious and we especially enjoy the demi on the filet -- highly recommended!
We dine there often and have sampled nearly
everything they make and have never been disappointed. Call ahead for
reservations as the dining room is fairly intimate with a room-length dark-wood bar along one side.
Perfect for a romantic evening!

Evenfall
8 Knipe Rd, Haverhill, MA 01835
Tel. (978) 521-7550
Offering eight to nine entrees plus often a daily special, this
funky restaurant sports two cool bars which seem more at home in Beacon Hill than Haverhill.
That's a plus, because Evenfall's bars offer a pleasant oasis in the suburbs of
Haverhill. Be sure to enjoy a drink (the one on the right is usually more hopping, especially
on weekdays, than the one on the left) before dinner -- the martinis are excellent!
The food at Evenfall is delicious and savory, with just the right portion sizes
to make the evening feel complete. The large open dining room also sports some
booths along the back wall. Ask for one of the booths when making a reservation if
you like privacy. Hip without most of the pretension.

George's
130 Washington St., Haverhill, MA 01835
Tel. (978) 374-5150
No online menu (sorry), but this is a nice restaurant we sometimes visit
for a change of pace. The entrees are well-prepared and the menu offers
something for pretty much everyone. While the dining room is slightly
larger than Keon's (which is just down the street), you should still
call ahead for reservations.

The Tap Restaurant and Brew Pub
100 Washington Street
Tel. (978)
If you're looking for fresh-made beer and a nice variety of brews to
choose from, The Tap is the place to go. Not every New England town has their
own brewpub, but Haverhill does! The custom made beers are made on the premises
and I've sampled and recommend them all. The food is standard fare for a place
like this which emphasizes drink over all. There's something for everyone
on the menu, reasonable prices, and plenty of dining room space so you
can bring the whole family.

The Peddler's Daughter
45 Wingate Street
Tel. (978) 372-9555
Looking for an authentic Irish pub and restaurant. This is the best
one in the Merrimack Valley. Located in the basement of a historic, old
building, it is a wonderfully dark but warm restaurant and pub filled
with many nooks and crannies for dining. Excellent Irish favorites may be
found here
and the staff makes you feel right at home. Easily the best pub in Haverhill.

Bistro 45
45 Wingate Street
Tel. (978) 468-9700
A Tapas and Martini Bar. Pretty much the best place in the greater Haverhill area
to get excellent tapas. In a historic old building, quaint dining room, just above The Peddler's Daughter.
