Candy Czernicki began her journalism career on the Nallwood Junior High Scroll in 1977 and never looked back. She holds a master of arts degree in journalism from Marquette University, Milwaukee, where she teaches part-time in the journalism department. She is also a reporter for the South Milwaukee Voice Graphic. She can also be found posting in our support forums regularly.

Dr. Marie Hartwell-Walker is licensed in Massachusetts as both a psychologist and marriage and family therapist and has been in practice for over 30 years. She has authored advice columns for parents, articles and books on classroom discipline for teachers, and various programs for human service agencies and industry. Grounded in Adlerian psychology, her focus is on helping people take more responsibility for themselves and get along better with others. Kristina Randle, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience in the field of mental health. She works with adults, adolescents, children and families in both individual and group counseling settings. Her background includes Community Mental Health and University Counseling settings. Kristina is also involved in university-based mental health research and has published a number of papers in her field. She is particularly interested in matters relating to Schizophrenia and other severe mental illness. In her practice, Kristina utilizes a Humanistic-Existential framework.

William D. Meek, 28, is a doctoral candidate in counseling psychology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC). Will earned his Bachelors degree in psychology at Baldwin-Wallace College (Berea, OH), his Masters in counseling at UMKC, and this fall he will be working on his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Delaware counseling center. His research interests include the link between self-esteem and materialism, the keys to happiness, and the importance of the therapeutic alliance in counseling. Otherwise, Will is a huge baseball fan (Cleveland Indians) and indie rock enthusiast, and writes daily at staffpsychologist.com.
Stanley Popovich is the author of A Layman's Guide to Managing Fear Using Psychology, Christianity and Non Resistant Methods - an easy to read book that presents a general overview of techniques that are effective in managing persistent fears and anxieties. Clyde H. Hedgcoth, Jr., M.Ed. is a former teacher, working on a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He writes poetry, sings music in the shower and the car ("as long as I remember in which one to stay dressed in, I am okay..."), he has one son and he is a card-carrying member of the American Psychological Association. Clyde has taught public school, and some college courses, and he also works full-time. Somehow, he finds time to sleep and eat, but only on Tuesdays. The rest of the time, he tries to shower in my car while singing classic rock songs. :) "Nice to have landed here, and I will try to help as much as I can!"
